CD/DVD Audio Skipping Problem Solved

So, recently I had a problem with my CD/DVD drive on my Dell Inspiron E1705. I was trying to watch videos I had burned onto data DVDs. The issue was the sound would skip. First I thought it might be the driver, so I looked for the HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GSA-T11N driver on Dell.com. After reinstalling the driver to no effect, I googled for the symptoms I had. I came across this, and did what was explained in post #7. It worked and now my audio is back to normal. YAY!
